The Immaculate Conception College will celebrate its 75th years as an Educational Institution this coming 2010. <o:p></o:p>
Gaya ng alam ng maraming nakakakilala sa akin, hindi ako isang ICCnian dahil isa akong BCnian subalit sa pagkakataong ito ay nakikiisa ako at ang aking pamilya sa gaganaping pagdiriwang sa ika-75 anibersaryo ng Immaculate Conception College.
Sa mahigit sampung taong pagtutok ko sa pag-aaral ng aking mga anak sa ICC ay nakita ko ang mga pagbabagong ginawa ng Augustinian Recollect Sisters upang maibigay ang isang quality education sa kanilang mga mag-aaral. Nakita ko rin ang mga pagsusumikap ng mga teachers upang mapa-unlad pa ang kanilang mga kaalaman upang maibahagi sa kanilang mga estudyante. Ang kanilang malimit na pag-attend sa mga seminar ay isang indikasyon na ginagawa nila ang lahat upang madagdagan pa ang kanilang nalalaman at ang ibay muling nag-aaral para lalong mapaghusay at mapalawig ang kanilang kaalaman sa pagtuturo. Nasaksihan ko ang pagbabagong ginawa ng ICC sa aking mga anak mula sa isang mahiyain at uhuging bata hanggang sa isang taong may lakas ng loob, tatag at tiwala sa sarili. Nakita ko rin ang mga bagong pasilidad at ang bagong building na pinagawa ng ICC. Nakikita ko ang mga pagsisikap ng lahat upang maiagapay ang paaralan sa mga kasalukuyang pagbabago tulad ng mga makabago technology na gamit sa pag-aaral tulad ng pagkakaroon ng WI FI na kailangan ng mga estudyanteng gumagamit ng laptop. Nakita ko rin ang ginawang pagkukumpuni sa canteen ng school upang maiagapay ito sa kasalukuyang pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral. Kaya naman hindi kataka-taka na ang Immaculate Conception College ay ang kauna-unahang Accredited Educational Institution ng PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF ACCREDITED SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES (PAASCU) sa labas Batangas City.
Tulad ng dapat asahan ang ICC ay naglunsad din ng mga bagong kurso sa kolehiyo tulad ng Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Associate in Computer Technology at Computer Secretarial Course. Sa darating na panahon ay maaaring mag-offer na rin ng BS Computer Engineering, BS in Computer Science at BS in Information Management. Sa ngayon ay ini-offer na rin ang Bachelor of Hotel and Restaurant Management na accredited ng TESDA at Accredited din ng Assessment Venue for Household Services NCII.
Mula noon hanggang ngayon ay tunay ngang malayo na ang narating ng ICC tulad ng kanyang mga mag-aaral na tunay na kinikilala sa kani-kanilang piniling larangan.
KUDOS sa teaching staff, sa administrators pati na rin sa mga magulang at mga mag-aaral. Kung hindi sa kanila at sa matibay na pananalangin nina MOTHER CECILIA ROSA AND DONISIA TALANGPAZ ang IMMACULATE CONCEPTION COLLEGE ay hindi makakarating sa tagumpay na tinatamasa nila ngayon.
